Some days ago I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my mother in the "Four Seasons"-Hotel in Hamburg, Germany. We got five perfect meals and a glass of good Italian wine. I love evenings like this. Especially the chef did a good job, we got varied food and it was sooo yummy :-)

The best olive oil I ever tried. It was soooooo good! If you know where I can buy it, please tell me!

English Actress Imogen Poots and French Model Camille Rowe Pourcheresse have been named as the new faces of the Chloé fragrance advertising campaign starting worldwide in September 2011 to be photographed by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.

“I’m really proud to participate in this wonderful project, a campaign that allows different types of personalities to be shown”, said Imogen Poots.

The two relatively unknown faces to me take over from Anja Rubik and Clemence Posey; Imogen Poots is one of England’s top young actresses today. In 2006, she has starred in “V for Vendetta”, a role which brought her international acclaim. She’s also appeared in “28 weeks later” which earned her the nomination for Most Promising Newcomer by the British Independent Film Award, in “Solitary Man” alongside Michael Douglas and Susan Sarandon and this year she will star in “Fright Night.”

Camille Rowe Pourcheresse is a young French model and actress. She was already shot by renowned photographers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Bruce Weber, Paolo Roversi and Jean Baptiste Mondino. Romain Gavras also directed her alongside Vincent Cassel for his film “Our day will come” in 2010.

Camille Rowe Pourcheresse also declares: “I’m very much honored to have been chosen by Chloé to embody the iconic Chloé fragrance.”

Naomi Campbell was organizing a runway show during the Cannes Film Festival to collect money for the victims in Japan. But obviously the floor was so slippery, that the model Lindsey Wixson (17) fall down 3 times. Haha!

Naomi's friends Karolina Kurkova (24) and Nadja Auermann (40) were running on the catwalk, too. Many models and famous personalities were presenting beautiful dresses, for example from Gucci, Jil Sander, etc. The motto was: "Runway to Red Carpet".

The editor-in-chief Anna Wintour is the latest New Yorker to participate in the Human Rights Campaign's "New Yorkers for Marriage Equality" initiative. But she's not the only one. Other personalities like Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Sean Avery, Julianna Margulies, Mario Batali, Senators Chuck Schumer, Kirsten Gillibrand, Barbara Bush, Russell Simmons, Joan Rivers, Julianne Moore and Kenneth Cole are supporting this campaign, too. Gov. Andrew Cuomo is hoping to pass gay marriage legislation. The end of the current legislative session is June, 20.

As you can see on the two pictures below, Anna Wintour is not the only one in the fashion industry who is supporting this campaign. The two designersMarc Jacobs and HRC teamed up for a window display at the Marc by Marc Jacobs boutique at 403 Bleecker Street, featuring a springtime wedding scene with two female mannequins getting hitched. Michael Kors plans to do the same.

...I want to be a fashion designer. Since I am twelve or something like that I am interested in fashion, I love combining various things and to see the result in the end :-)

Next year I will graduate and I have completely no ideas where I want to study. I only know what: fashion design! Thought about Milan, Rome or something like that. I love Italy and of course the beautiful language italian. For me it's one of the most beautiful languages in the world. Or Paris? Well, I don't want to go there so much but maybe I will change my opinion. It doesn't mean that I don't like Paris, no, I adore this city, but I couldn't imagine to live there. Or maybe I just stay in Hamburg for the studies. We will see!

BIG EXTRA: Chanel Cruise Collection 2011/2012 in Cannes

The preview which made me so excited! Love the whole story and all the famous faces!

I wish I was there! First I have to mention that the Côte d'Azur is definately one of my favorite places, I love Monaco, I love Cannes, St. Tropez, Nice, I really can say that I was born in the wrong place (although I really like Hamburg, the city where I live). By the way, I have been to Monaco about two weeks ago, so I can imagine or feel this mediterranean atmosphere. And this atmosphere is so Chanel! You can't even imagine how I love this runway show, Karl Lagerfeld did more than a great job. This runway show was located in Cannes in the Hotel du Cup (Cap d'Antibes) yesterday evening. This hotel is one of the most luxurios and exclusive hotels in the world - this choice was the best they could ever make!

Karl Lagerfeld embellished the models (e.g. Toni Garrn, Frankie Rayder, Stella Tennant or Karolina Kurkova, such as many newcomers) with real pearls, brooches, tiaras and bangles. Typical for the collection was the use of many black and white tones but also the maxi and cocktail dresses were so adorable! At the end you could see a wonderful wedding dress (that wants every girl, at the latest after Kate's wedding with William!) I am soooooo impressed!

Honestly, I love both, Kate and William, they look so naturally, so beautiful together. Kate is a gorgeous woman who is spreading so much female power. In my opinion she is the perfect choice for the future King. But - in my opinion - the dress was not the best choice. I know, the simplicity is typical for her, but she could make an exception for her wedding. I mean, it's her WEDDING!!! You know what I mean? She could have such an interesting dress and when I saw the creation of Sarah Burton, I was like...I don't know... kinda disappointed. She is becoming a princess and she should have worn a princess' dress! In addition I didn't like the train at all. It looked like a piece of cloth that was attached in her hair. All in one it was a really boring wedding, and did you understand why there were trees instead of flowers in the Westminster Abbey?

But I have to admit that David and Victoria Beckham stealed everyone the show: particularly Victoria looked amazing in her dress of her own label. Love her!

Some time ago I've announced that Hermès is going to launch a new furniture collection and finally you can see the pictures of it! The label has just debuted their Home section at Milan's Furniture Fair. Hermès creative director Pierre-Alexis Dumas has called architects Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines (cool name!) to design the Hermès Pavillon. The furniture was designed by Enzo Mari, Antonio Citterio and RDAI Studio.

It seems like the couturier's quarter century-long career in fashion is officially over, his fall from grace continues: According to WWD, the designer has been fired from his eponymous label, which was established right after his graduation at the renowned Central Saint Martins in London. Dior, which owns more than 90% of the Galliano house, has currently no plans to sell the brand and has put the Dior-team at Galliano in charge of creating the upcoming collections.

John Galliano has been arrested and afterwords fired by Dior in March, because he said anti-Semitic things in a Parisian Bar towards patrons.

Many outraged individuals spoke out about Galliano's remarks, including Natalie Portman, who chose to wear Rodarte over Dior when she accepted her Best Actress Oscar this year. "I am deeply shocked and disgusted by the video of John Galliano's comments that surfaced today," Portman said in a statement after the incident. "In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr. Galliano in any way."

WOW!!! I would looove to live here, it's the apartment of my dreams! I adore the beautiful furniture, especially the white sofa, I want exactly the same one! Christian Louboutin sues Yves Saint Laurent

Christian Louboutin is alleging Yves Saint Laurent of violating the label's trademark red-soled shoes. Louboutin says YSL is selling shoes with red soles that are "virtually identical" to its own, the damage amount is about 1 million dollar.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office awarded Louboutin a trademark for the red sole in 2008, according to the complaint. Louboutin was informed by Yves Saint Laurent executives by letter in January that they planned to "continue to sell the infringing footwear," the lawsuit states. Yves Saint Laurent is a unit of Paris-based PPR (PP), which owns Gucci and other luxury brands.
The case is Christian Louboutin SA v. Yves Saint Laurent America Inc., 11-2381, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York (Manhattan).

Caren Pfleger is the most unsympathetic designer I know. Maybe you've heard of the scandalous news the last days. I just couldn't believe that, I was really shocked! For those who didn't recognize: Mrs. Pfleger has bought clothes at ZARA, H&M and Only, removed all labels from them, sewed in her own one and selled them! Among other she had bought a H&M shirt for 4,95€ (about 7$) and selled it for 70€ (about 100$)! That's so wicked! Well, let me indroduce you this woman.

Caren Pfleger is a german designer, beauty and lifestyle expert and has been a successful model.

She was born as Katharina Paffendorf. In the age of 17 she has started her modeling career in New York City. She worked with famous photographers and has appeared 24 times on the cover of Vogue, she was also a well-known model of Estée Lauder.
She has studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, in 1979 she has founded the "Caren Pfleger fashion agency". In the same year she has presented her first collection which was exhibited 1983 in the Guggenheim Museum in New York. In 1989 Pfleger even got a job as professor in a university where she taught fashion design.

But that's not all. Her collections got awarded several times, e.g. 1996 and 1998 with the Fil d'Or in Monte Carlo, in 1996 she got the European Fashion Award, in 1998 the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Caren Pfleger is not only a fashion designer, but also a book writer. She has written several books about esotericism, she declares herself for buddhism. It's sad, that she did those nasty things after such a perfect carreer!

Today is sunday, the day I hate. That means that all shops are closed and only a few people are having a walk around the city. The worst is that tomorrow I have to stand up early. Anyways, I went along the streets and saw a scandalous bag: A green gucci bag that looked like a Hermès-Kelly-Bag. Why do they do that? Do they think stealing ideas from others is cool?

Well besides that plagiarism I pretty much like the actual collection from Gucci. The colours and the cuts are adorable. I love the new bags with the golden buckles.

I love reading fashion blogs, they're a way more personal than fashion magazines or other commercial websites.
